I am a theatre academic, writer and project manager.

I am currently researching a PhD in Contemporary Theatre Audiences, as part of an AHRC funded collaborative doctorate between Queen Mary, University of London and Actors Touring Company. My current title is ‘Cultures of Spectatorship in Contemporary Theatre: Dramaturgy, Site, Participation and Audience in the work of ATC’.
I am developing a new theatre section for the online magazine The Literateur, and also write for other publications, particularly Exeunt magazine. I do lots of bits and bobs as a freelance project manager too, most recently co-managing Royal Opera House’s Open Up festival Day. I am on the board of directors for fanSHEN, a brilliant theatre company which produces cutting edge new international work. I love the plays of the Early Modern period, and help run the London Shakespeare Readers’ Society, which takes place on the last Sunday of every month at Treadwells Bookshop in Bloomsbury. All newcomers welcome!
